The IoT enables information technology integration and its application (Kim et al., 2017). The analytical framework for sensor-based IoT helps to achieve environmental sustainability (Bibri, 2018). The circular economy system enables to use energy and natural resources while minimizing waste through the principles of recycling, reducing and reusing (Tura et al., 2019). The circular economy loop includes the features of non-renewable and renewable as input followed by convergence, production, consumptions and finally residuals and emissions as output (Walmsley et al., 2019). In agriculture the waste can be prevented by estimating the future data through IoT devices. Providing the future market prices of the agriculture product helps the farmers sell the goods at the right time. The features are described as follows:
Minimization and supply: Data collection sensors, waste amount detection, waste reduction.
Distribution and collection: Collecting each type of waste frequently, treatment of the plant by detecting diseases of the plants at early stage and choosing the right treatment.
Technology selection: Safety sensors, parameter control by selecting the proper technology.
