Centroid of H-section

The H-section, shown in Figure 11.5, can be divided into three parts: left and right parts of area A₁ and central part of area A₂. The lengths and widths of all the parts of H-section are shown in Figure 11.5. Let the X and Y coordinates pass through origin O.
