Qualities of a good acoustical materials are as follows:
- An absorbent material should be economical for construction and should be waterproof, fireproof, adequate strength and heat resistant.
- It should be durable and easy for maintenance.
- It should have high absorption capacity.
- It should be easy to fix and should be self-supporting.
