The water level in the tank is measured by the ultrasonic sensor that is clamped at the top of the water container. The measurement is recorded by measuring the distance to the target. When the water level in the tank goes below a threshold, the farmer is notified via text or an email. On receiving the notification of low water level, the farmer continues refilling the tank to attain the level required.
