Agriculture-​based smartphone applications

Several domains in agriculture can be automatically monitored to enhance productivity of the agriculture with less human effort. The sensors-​based equipment that are connected to IoT can be operated using software-​based applications. These applications interact with the humans using GUI. These apps include the farm management, animal stock, weather report, goods availability and soil parameters. These applications include mainly three monitoring and management systems (Table 8.2).
